Author’s last name, First name. Book Title. City: Publisher, Date. Print.

Periodical – Journal or Magazine

Author’s last name, First name. “Article.” Periodical Title. Date: page numbers. Print.

Online Resource: If there is no Publisher/Sponsor, enter “N.p.” and enter “n.d.” for no date of publication. You’ll always have the date of access.

Author’s last name, First name. “Page Title.” Site title. Sponsor or Publisher, Date posted or last updated. Web. Date accessed. <URL>.

Other Resources: basic format for everything from art to interviews, for web and non-web resource. Use description when needed.

Author’s last name, First name. “Title of small part of resource.” Title of Overall big part of resource. Description of source. Sponsor or Publisher of source, date of last update. Format. Date accessed. <URL>.

Notice the addition of description of source and format in non-traditional entries. This is for you to let the reader know the format you are using.
